A series of still lifes, done with natural light & a couple of different lenses (new & vintage).

I've been keeping busy because my anxiety has been elevated lately, & doing little projects for myself helps.

I used to think still lifes were pointless nonsense! But I've come to quite like them. They seem to have the ability to range from tranquil to brooding. And I like the symbolism they can have, leading the viewer to work out the 'meaning' in these tableauxs of objects.

Panties are for Pussies - WIP

A silly / amusing idea I had, inspired by a line in a comedy audio book I was listening to (The Castle) and based on a still I came across of Eva Lindberg in *I Jomfruens Tegn* (Danish Pastries) from 1973.

A very rough mermaid sketch.

I did this sitting in my favourite little cafe, just to try and get back into drawing figures. But frustrating, but I'm still pleased. Ish.

Because I haven't been working on any new art, here's a mask I started making. The geometric grooves will most likely be painted silver.

I sell these on Etsy, though sales have been a bit slow lately, and I've been a bit slack making them haha!

We ran out of gas, so I just reheated last night's dinner (which I wasn't feeling up to eating, due to weird queeziness) using a heat gun!

Adiquately effective!

Trying to get the hang of pixel art!

Done in an app appropriately named . I'll probably use Piskel if I get more into this, but it's a bit awkward in my Android web browser (Not sure if there's an Android app actually, but there are offline PC etc versions.)

Anyway, a sort of fantasy medieval fellow, & a creepy dude with horrible slogan tee, which reads 'Hobby GYNO CLUB' haha!

I mean, obviously I'm a bit of a pervert. But I also make delicious, sourdough bread! So swings and roundabouts. (Sex-swings and doughnuts?)

Happy Valentines! This silly thing I did last year, because I can't be bothered to do something new, quite frankly haha! No, maybe I will if I get the chance, but we'll see.

Single, admittedly a bit lonely, but not really looking. I'm not sure if I've talked about it here, but I suffer from anxiety, and as a result I feel it's just easier, for now, not to date (or whatever). I'm craving some intimacy though haha!

Sorry I've been boring lately! I'm going to try to do some more interesting things soon-ish... But I'm the meantime here's an illustration of my walking shoes, from memory haha!

I've been finding the laces dig in, so I'm planning on making some 'shields' out of Worbla thermoplastic, to sit under the laces and spread the pressure. Hopefully that will give a more comfortable, more secure fit.

Just sitting in a café, and going to do some idle illustration/sketching with my little hand made sketchbook.

I've made myself a few of these, and I must confess I get such satisfaction using it.

Hey hey! I mentioned in my last post (I think it was) that I've been playing around with RPG Maker MV. Well I've come up with a way of doing simple shadow overlays, and done a quick tutorial if anyone is interested!

'A Prince's Tale'

So I've decided to have a go at making a naughty RPG using the medieval-ish, fantasy, comedy, erotic fiction I started writing once. I think I posted some pictures and snippets from the story before?

I'm using RPG Maker MV, with mostly default graphic assets so far, but I've edited some (& I invented my own interior shadow overlay) & plan on customising further as I go.

I was inspired by the surprisingly excellent game 'Warlock and Boobs' (what a title!)

"Life without Bread, is not Life!"

Silly tee-shirt design I'm thinking about doing!

I'm amused that the spelling of bread in French, pain, gives it a double meaning for English speakers haha! Quite during in this context.

Maybe I should also do one that says something like 'bread or death'

Randy Fox - Punk Rock Detective

I did this really just because I wanted to try out doing an art video stream on Piczel.tv and I had the idea for a cheeky private detective, who's a bit randy, and happens to be an anthropomorphic fox! I think this is what the kids call an 'OC' lol!

This ended up way more messy than I'd hoped, but I was trying to work quickly because of the stream!

A series of 'Pussy Portraits' I did from anonymous submissions to my grubby scribbles Instagram, before it got shut down haha!

I love how varied the shapes of vulva are! Of course no two penises are the same, but it seems more noticeable with ‘pussies’ … or perhaps it’s just that I take more notice haha!

(putting the mast-o-bation in haha!)

'Excruciating Pleasure'

Probably my favourite piece!

Traditional drawing/inking, coloured digitally. I based the girl on a photo of friend & fellow artist @eilwaen (Instagram). For the guy I looked at the reference photo & tried to take a photo of myself, in the pose I wanted, which would hopefully match up haha! I particularly like how his face came out, & I'm glad it doesn’t look too recognisable… I hope!!

Femme Fatale - Exposed, yet utterly in control.

Based on a photo of the lovely @milk.in.armour (Instagram) & took inspiration for the geometric tiles from the Frank Lloyd Wright designed interior used for Deckard’s apartment in Bladerunner.

Linework & tile design done traditionally, then scanned, compiled, & colored digitally.

Playing with my new pens (and my penis haha!) feat. two dubious hands!

I hate the way the upper hand came out, that I made it look like I have bananas for fingers & as if I’m about to thump someone! Gah! (Yes, shhhh, it’s based on a photo I took of myself)

Anyway this was my first go at hatching/cross-hatching with very fine pens. It turns out 003 (0.03mm) really is every bit as tiny as it sounds!

Another Naughty Fairy!

Based on a photo of a dear friend riding a suction cup dildo stuck to a desk! I couldn’t resist giving her a friend to ride haha! I’m sure I didn’t do her justice! And definitely not happy with the clothes. And the man’s legs look a bit weird. Sigh!

Was fun to do though, and it was one of those nice, quick illustrations that went together smoothlyish.

Traditional linework, digitally coloured.
